Today Tully Schweitzer, Tiana Solley, Joel Drew, Daniel Drew, Lee Martin and Connor Campbell and Club President Dan Murray joined our Club Patron Jonty Bush – Member for Cooper, for lunch and a tour of Queensland Parliament House.

The occasion was to celebrate members’ achievements particularly those who have recently competed at a national level representing Queensland. Spots were limited and we are aiming to coordinate another lunch or celebration next year for those who missed out.

We were also surprised with a short chat with the Premier, Annastacia Palaszczuk, who stopped by to say hello and pass on her congratulations.

The Ashgrove Rangers Athletics Club has a talented group coming through the ranks who are an inspiration to everyone. It’s also great to have fantastic support from Jonty. We really appreciate it.
