As President of the defending Brisbane Cross Country Series champions Ross Anderson of Toowong Harriers had a firm grip on the trophy yesterday however he will now have to share with Thompson Estate after their whopping victory at home in the final round of the Brisbane Cross Country Series at Minnippi Parklands, Tingalpa.

A gritty rearguard action to come 6th on the day saw us safely home ahead of Athletics North for outright third place for the season three points ahead of Athletics North.

Our individual series medalists were:

Under 10 Boys – Elliott Stannard – Bronze
Under 14 Girls- Emilia Schulze – Silver
Under 14 Boys – Tate Van Camp – Silver
Under 18 Girls- Tully Schweitzer- Bronze
Masters Women – Lynda Bateson- Silver
Masters Men – Ken Hastie – Bronze
