If awards for excellence in Cross Country course presentation were made there’s no doubt that Bruce Jones and his Toowong Harriers team would be up for a Gold Medal and once again today lots of compliments about the Biambi Yumba Park course for the Brisbane Cross Country Series at Fig Tree Pocket.

Well done to Kitty Stannard U8, Laura Bray U16, Lara Wannenburgh U18, Daniel Casey Open 4k and Max Roethig Open 6k who all got maximum points.
For the Series it’s still Kitty Stannard U8, Lara Wannenburgh U18, Theres Schulze Open 6k and Lynda Bateson Masters in front with Laura Bray U16 joining Kristina Kersten U18, Daisy Carter U20 and Andrew Carkeet Open 6k in second place while Katie Bray U20 is in third place and Sophie Hurley has moved to fourth in the U8s.
We are 8 points clear now of Athletics North for the season so barring a catastrophe at Minnippi we will finish third for the season so well done everyone!
