It was a tricky night with the weather tonight for the 1500m Classic at UQ track but our competitors battled through firstly the wind and later on the rain to post some handy performances.

A great run by Zel Van Loggerenberg saw her get fifth in the Schoolgirls No. 1 Race in a PB of 4:41.95 while Laura Bray took out the Schoolgirls No. 4 Race in 5:00.70.

Miserable weather and a delayed programme saw Tate Van Camp fourth in the Schoolboys No. 2 Race with a 4:10.0 just outside his own State Record.

Katie Bray recorded 8:22 in the 1500m Walk and well done also to Andre Wightman who recorded 5:30.91 in the Masters Race.
