Tony Usher joined Ashgrove Rangers in the early 1990s after growing up in Rockhampton.
He was a fixture in many of our great road relay wins in the 1990s and also produced handy performances on the track at distances from 800m through to 10k.

His smart approaches of barefoot running in Cross Country events and keeping easy training days easy bore results with State representation at the National Cross Country and a 69 minute Half Marathon.
Tony re-joined the club in 2008 and has been our long-time Club Secretary.

Through longevity he recorded a win in the State Short Course Cross Country over 55 years age group at Yatala.

His personable nature down through the years has been appreciated by all at events like the Flying Four.

Tony will be awarded Life Membership of Ashgrove Rangers at our upcoming 60th Anniversary Dinner.
Our Buffet Dinner is on Saturday 8th October at 5.15pm at Broncos Leagues Club, Fulcher Rd, Red Hill with tickets available at $55 for adults, $15 for Kids up to 12 yrs with 4 yrs and below free. Ticket sales close next Monday 26th September. Looking forward to celebrating what should be a great night.
