A solid day’s competition for us at the Norma Croker Shield at QE2 today with just the sort of depth of teamwork we need to improve going forward across a good range of events including 100m, 800m, Long Jump and Sprint Hurdles from our athletes.

Highlights included 2nd place to Genesis S’Au in U18 Discus in 36.26m, an 11.14 100m to Aidan Dallinger with Isaac Ting 11.30 and an impressive 22.91 by Andrew Pfeffer with Haiden Boyd 23.03 in the 200m.

National qualifiers went to Tiana Solley (100m – 12.44), Laura Bray (800m – 2:21.71), Emilia Schulze (2:21.8 ), Hayden Lockhart (100m Hurdles – 14.95) and Sam Shaw (200m – 25.79).
