Congratulations to Andrew Carkeet for taking out one of our most important events for the year the Lincoln Winch Memorial Handicap in steamy conditions at the Flying 4 at Ashgrove this morning ahead of Wayne Adams and Daniel Casey.

First home in the Women’s Category was Gina de la Cruz ahead of Lynda Bateson and Colleen Hendry.

We had a good field of 47 runners and plenty of keen competition across runners of all ages and levels of ability.

A big thanks once again to Sarah and Zoe Winch for assisting with the presentations and celebrating the memory of Lincoln who was very well respected across the community and like many today helped contribute to the friendly family experience of the Flying Four each month over many years.
