Australian All Schools 2023

The Australian Australian Schools concluded today in Perth with another fantastic day for our athletes.

After heartbreaking losses at last year’s Australian All Schools in Adelaide and Australian Championships in Brisbane, it was great to see Joel Drew’s perseverance pay off as he snared that elusive Gold in 14.07 in the Under 18 110 m Hurdles into a 0.8 headwind.

Tate Van Camp completed his long-awaited treble adding the 800m Gold in great fashion in 2:02.57 to add to yesterday’s 400m and 1500m wins.

Lee Martin equaled his PB with a huge 16.67m throw for Silver in the Under 18 Shot while newcomer Isaiah Burgess was fourth in 14.61m in the Under 17 Shot.

Hayden Lockhart performed brilliantly to record 11.92 for Silver in the Under 14 Triple Jump while Cooper Lofts also recorded a top result with 8th place in Under 15 Javelin with 41.79m.

Certainly a very highly successful meet for us so congratulations to all of our athletes who competed as I thought all of them were absolutely outstanding and well done to the parents and coaches who supported them.
