Considering the list of other quality events on over the weekend, and the foreboding weather, a solid number of runners gathered at Ashgrove sports ground on Sunday for the running of the annual Flying 4 Club Handicap for 2016. The Club handicap sees all runners allocated a handicap time based on their performances so far this year. Runners then gather at the start line and are released one by one with the fastest runners being held back to last. The event is designed to generate a close finish as all runners should (theoretically) finish at the same time. It has made for some exciting finishes in the past and this year was no different with Lynda digging deep to hold off a rampaging Stavros to claim 1st position.
